Blanca Li is a Spanish film director, stage director, dancer and choreographer. In 1993 she created her own dance company, La Compagnie, in which Li has produced 12 creations, exploring a wide-range of forms of expression through movement, from classical to hip-hop and flamenco. Li also turned to movies, advertising for brands such as Prada, Gap and Lancôme and music videos for groups such as Daft Punk, Blur and Goldfrapp. In 2009, she was awarded with one of the twenty “Gold Medal of Fine Arts” by the Spanish King Juan Carlos—an award given to only 20 outstanding personalities in culture and art.
